Just a quick video I made showing the effects of P21s Wheel Gel after 30 min dwell time.

It says you can leave it on for as long as 2 hrs if the wheel is really bad.

Um...where was the before? I couldn't really discern any "effect".

Yup, should have thought of doing that.

Looks like you're rinsing off a clean wheel. Just sayin'....

so what is the advantages of the P21s when comparing to IronX beside the longer dwell time?

Ok, maybe you can tell us what you saw that prompted you to post the video. I haven't found P21S to be effective on tough brake dust no matter how long I let it dwell; of course, I never used a pressure washer to rinse it, either.

More safe, but not as effective as IronX on baked on brake dust.

Definitely needed a "before" shot to see how dirty the wheel was before cleaning. In the "related videos" list on You Tube, I found the first one pretty helpful:

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IgSiBERxFlM]Best Alloy Wheel Cleaner Test - Valet Pro Bilberry vs P21s Powergel Acid Free Wheel Cleaners - YouTube[/video]

This one does a 50/50 comparison on the same wheel between Valet Pro Bilberry Wheel Cleaner and P21s. (BTW, the wheel is disgustingly dirty with tons of caked on brake dust.) Both were allowed to dwell for 5 minutes before spraying with a pressure washer. Both needed agitation with a brush afterwards to clean-up further.

Random, the P21S in that vid is the red Power Gel that IIRC isn't available here in the US.

thanks!!

but in terms of safety, can the P21s used on chrome, aluminum and anodized wheels which ironx should not be used?

We cannot get either of those products here in the US. Thanks for teasing us with that....:xyxthumbs:
