By the way my name is Rob.

Thanks Rob...

Introduce yourself when you get here tonight so we can all put your real name to your forum nickname...

What happened to the broadcasts? Being a west coaster it was always fun getting to participate that way. This is one of those times it'd be fun to watch. :(

Look for live broadcasts to start back in...

The reason we haven't done any live broadcasts lately is because our projects have not lent themselves well to a live broadcast, for example I used this Police Car for my Detailing Boot Camp Class last weekend so my students could learn how to wetsand, cut and buff on the real deal, not a demo hood, rental car or cookie sheet.

Nothing wrong with demo hoods, rental cars and cookie sheets as I use these too. But when I have people attending one of my detailing classes I want them to get the best class experience possible and that means working on real cars. Not just real cars but cool cars.

Now check out what my students were able to work on in this threads...

These are AFTER shots, get the idea... my students already sanded it down TWICE and then compounded it and polished it.

What we're doing tonight is called...

Clean up

So since most of the work has already been done, it wouldn't make for a very good live broadcast.

BUT... look for some very cool live broadcasts coming up in the near future like the extreme makeover of my new truck.

I just bought this and the guy that painted it buffed it out with a wool pad and a caveman compound and it's completely hacked-up...

Looks good here...

Here's what the paint looks like when the sun hits it...

I've been a little busy lately so I have not even had time to wash it since it was unloaded last Wednesday...

I also have some boats on the schedule for extreme makeovers...

So hang in there and always be watching the bottom of the AGO forum homepage as that's where all upcoming projects are announced...

NOW... out to the garage to start sanding and compounding and finish this New York Police Car...
