Im thinking of ordering that brown royal stuff for some nasty wheels I've been getting lately. Those of you that get these type of wheels often, what do you turn to?

Bought and used the Meguiars Hot Rims this past weekend and I was impressed.

There has been some rave about Tuf Shine Tire cleaner. I'm going to be ordering some this weekend to try out. I currently use diluted Meguiar's super degreaser, all purpose cleaner +, and Wheel Brightener.

Sonax and megs wheel brightner have been said to be less effective then brown royal. Can anyone here attest to that? Also iron x or trix users, can I get your feedback?

+1 I've been using Sonax for a long time for really dirty wheels its my go to cleaner. If the wheels are not very dirty I use APC to clean wheels.

Brown Royal.

Like I've said many times before, it's safe like Sonax so it can be used on any wheel, but it's 18 times cheaper since you dilute it.

Honestly, I'm confused why more people don't use it since it's works just as well as some of the really expensive cleaners (Yes, $16 for 17oz is expensive) and it's much, much cheaper.

This is also what I use on heavily soiled wheels.

I was about to order Brown Royal but decided against it due to the smell reported by other detailers, so I opted for some P21s wheel gel, should be here soon. I also have Wolf's Brake Duster which is also a deionizer.

I use Meg's OTC Chome Wheel Cleaner (acid) on bad rotor hats and barrels. Its very strong and was just on sale for $5 a bottle at Pep Boys.

Don't let OTC fool you. Its very strong. Here is a before and after of what it can do.

Just don't let it dry on your wheels.
