Making you own clay lube is definetly a great way to SAVE $$$$. I am tired of using $10 worth of QD to clay a car.
becareful, in experimenting with some car soaps and making my own clay lube I found it to damage / break down the clay. I now splurge on the DP Clay Lubricant which is cheap and also a big spray bottle.
