Hello all, I read an article Mike wrote, forgot which one but it said that one load is about a dozen average size microfiber towels. What do you consider average size? 16x16? I detail my own vehicle on the weekends and I can't accumulate enough dirty mf during one regular wash and wax session. It is starting to get really tiring washing by hand and I want to start using the washing machine. I tried piling up 12 16x16 mf but it seems like it is not enough even for the smallest load setting. Anyways how many mf do you guys accumulate up to before throwing it into the washing machine at the lowest load setting?

Thanks.

I wash whenever I finish a car. It is usually a 26X40 waffle weave drying towel, 2 16X16 glass towels, 2 16X24 waffle weave towels, 2-4 16X16 "utility" towels, and 2-4 wax/ detail spray/ sealant removal towels. So I guess that is 12 towels max for me and my washer auto selects the size.

I usually use up like 14 ish. Sometime I just keep using it to make up for the water I'm going to be wasting washing them.

I will do any amount for a small load. For me once my towels get saturated with product they go in the washing machine. If I wipe down my car that doesn't get drivin much with say 6 towels total I will put them in the machine.

That for me is a small load.

I separate my towels into 3 loads. 1) drying/glass towels 2) wax/polish towels 3) heavy soiled towels

I only do my wife's and my car so they are all pretty small loads. I just put it on the small load setting and put in 2oz of BF micro wash.
