Blackfire duo, Wolfgang, or Menzerna

Which one would you pick and why?

Or something else all together?

Menzerna makes the other two you have listed...

The others are essentially SI1500 and SF4000

Last year I switched from M105/205 to SI 1500 and SF 4000 using a rotary. The Menzerna SI 1500 is much easier to work with them M105. Longer working time and less dusting. It's also much easier to clean up and product sling. The results were the same.

The only thing I've got so far is a Porter Cable DA and about 50 microfibers from Chemical Guys. I also have some old Menzerna Final Polish II and Finishing touch glaze.

It's been many years since I've done any real detailing other than Meg NXT. I do have access to a Makita rotary, but no experience to use it. I'm sure I'd wreck my new black paint with it.

Beautiful cars.

I would pick either of the two house brand products such as the Blackfire duo or Wolfgang duo. Pick your poison.

Just curious, if these are menzerna products....why even have the others? Sorry, but the new guy is confused.

The others are property of Palm Beach Motoring and they wanted a compound for their respective line. (WG & BF) I dont know how they got in touch with Menzerna or any of the details I just know they the duo's are made by Menzerna.

But then again the Menzerna line up is fantastic. You can go wrong with any of it. The easiest way with Menzerna is the lower the number on the bottle (FG400) the higher the cut level. On the other hand the higher the number (SF4500) the higher the finishing ability.

Check out the scale in the link for Menzerna polishes for the cut and gloss ratings.

Here is what I have found---- I used the LC CCS pads with the PC with the WG duo. Worked nice but changed things up a bit and am much happier with this combination--
1. Meguires microfiber buffing pads
2. Meguires D300, which finishes really nice
3. Menzerna SF4500, SF4000 could be used also but the D300 finished really nice
4. A Sealant followed by a hand Carnuba.

I found that with the D300 you can get a really good cut with the Meg pads, but when I just need a lighter cut, I use the LC CCS yellow, and even lighter pressure with the white. From what I have found, less pressure=less cut, in most cases.
I hope this helps you out. The other guys gave great information to you also.

I dare anybody to not get near perfect results with the WG twins. You'd have to work very hard not to.
