Whats up dudes, CM8 here with my last review of the year. That's right, I will explain the details & have something I want to say at the end of this review, so bear with me gentlemen.

The Product
http://i414.photobucket.com/albums/pp230/Diabolic/pto_zps0dfae095.jpg
I just want to say this product is FREAKING awesome. I've had this product for a while, I just haven't got to reviewing it. So what does this product have to offer? According to AG...
Water Based: The water-based formula will not leach out antiozonants or the natural UV absorbers in your tires. This preserves both the look and durability of your tires.
Variable Shine: The amount of gloss provided by Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Dressing is adjustable to meet your needs. If you prefer a low gloss, natural looking appearance simply apply one coat. If you want more shine then apply 2-3 coats allowing 15-20 minutes between coats to allow dressing to bond and set-up.
No Sling Formula: Pinnacle Black Onyx Tire Dressing dries to the touch and will not sling! Even if you apply it a little too thick, you can count on it sticking to your tires. The only thing that sticks is the shine.
All of the above mentioned statements are indeed true & tested myself. I have tried MANY different "tire shine" products and never found one that suited my needs. I didn't want that GREASY look that most OTC tire products give. Sure, they last a very long time, some have lasted me over 3 weeks. Though I cant understand why would you want your tire shine to last that long anyway, when your car will get dirty in about a week if its a daily driver? I also love how this product does not sling, smells GREAT (like mango), and a little goes a very long way.
The Application
I want to cut to the chase so I washed my tires. We all know how a dirty tire/wheel looks like, so I didn't bother with before pics for this review. Below is a squeaky clean tire..

I cleaned it with Meguiars All Wheel Cleaner and a brush. You can see the tire is clean, but due to normal wear & tear the tire looks dull. I applied Black Onyx with an Eagle One applicator..

As you can see, the results are AWESOME in my opinion. I love this look, rich black with a nice sheen to it. Not greasy, not over glossy. When you bought new tires for your car, did they look greasy? No, so why would you want them to look like that. This is the exact statement I said to one of my clients, he now prefers Black Onyx on his tires every time he comes in for his weekly wash.
Final Thoughts
At around $20 bucks for a 16oz bottle, this stuff is definitely pricey when you compare it to the OTC stuff available, although product vs product there is no comparison to Black Onyx. More often that not, many products come to criticism from many sides on AG because lets face it, most members on AG are weekend warriors. Then there are the business owners. This might not be the most "cost" effective product on the market, but for my personal car I will not use any other product. I highly recommend you try Pinnacle Black Onyx tire dressing.
And now....
Why my last review for the year? As many of you are already aware, I enlisted in the U.S Army and will be shipping soon. I enlisted as a 15R Attack Helicopter Repairer, I will be working on the AH-64 Apache Attack Helicopter. I will be going in as a Private First Class, and hope to one day rank up to a Warrant Officer to fly this baby, and wreck havoc on the enemy. :props:

So farewell gents, I will see you guys when I come back and wont be back in the detail game until next year. I want to say thanks to the following people:
*PapaSmurf
This active duty Navy veteran has provided me helpful tips for my entrance into the service, big thanks Caleb.
*Psynx
Big thanks to Psynx for guiding me through my training, with his MMA experience.
I also want to point the 3 members that have the biggest influence on me, and set the EXAMPLE for others to follow. They are true professionals in every sense.
*Marc08EX
*Smack
*PureShine
These guys are true Experts. They don't just talk about detailing, they are out there doing it and showing their work as well. Something I try to follow as much as possible. For the record, 2 of those members are not even Meguiars fans, just goes to show that product preference means 0 when it comes down to respect. My professional detail career began when I started following the great Marc08EX back in 2008 on the MOL forums. Hes a very modest guy, but I think people don't give him the credit he truly deserves.
Thanks to Auto Geek for having THE best customer service on the market, and a great forum. Not only do I want to come back as a Soldier, but I want to come back and upgrade my current line of polishes to include the entire Menzerna line. The guys that currently dont like me, LoL you guys are going to LOVE me when I come back. I mastered Meguiars SMAT polishes, DAT polishes will be another hammer in my tool set ;).
I will leave you guys with the write ups & reviews that I have written since being a member here, see you guys soon!
