OK so I recently bought the Meguiars DA Microfiber Pads and Correction system and will be using it with the PC, wondering what speed with the correction compound and what speed with the finishing wax. It says 4800 OPMs is that speed 4 or 5 on my PC?

typically, yes.. will vary from detailer to detailer

I only use the correction compound (D300) and for the PC you will want to use speed 4.5 or 5. Speed 5 should allow you to exert moderately heavy pressure on the machine and still keep the pad spinning.

The finishing wax (D301) can be used at a lower speed like speed 3 or 4 on the PC.
