Is there a polish that wont stain trim or concrete floor?

Poor boy light stains.

I am wondering if the 3M ultra fine polish does? We had super slick floors at the shop and staining the floor was never a concern to me since it's an auto body shop.

When I do a car I want to be able to concentrate on the car paint. Not trim or concrete floor etc...

Tape off the trim... Then you won't worry about it.

As far as the floor... How are you staining the floor? Don't think I've ever got more than a drop of polish on the floor.

Use a water based polish. GTechniq P1 and P2 are two examples AG carries, I'm sure there are plenty of others.

The Poor Boys stuff is really thick, but the stuff my cousin gave me is super liquidity almost like Milk.

Sorry let me rephrase this. The trim I'll always tape up from now on but would be nice not having to worry about the floor...

I still don't understand how are you staining the floor so much that it is something you have to worry about?

Polish goes on the pad, then you put the bottle down, then put more on the pad, and put it down again. I don't see how you could make such a mess. Close the cap on the bottle if you need to.

Imagine putting polish on a pad with the liquid polish having the consistency of water on a foam pad and not getting one drip on the floor and doing a whole car.

If you can then good job. But I know I got a few drips here and there.

More like a lot of drips haha. I have never used this polish so I am not familiar with it.

I just text him, I'll keep bugging him so I can get to the bottom of this!

This is what he gave me. It works but it has the consistency like water or milk

Interesting... how about just use something different then if you don't like it.

I consider Meg's M205 to be "runny" compared to other products like Menzerna, but I never drip it anywhere once it is applied to the pad.
