Products recommendations for black chevy silverado?

I have a newer model Chevy Silverado coming in soon for a one step correction and I don't have any experience with GM paint systems. I have heard they have rock hard clears and i'm afraid that my current one step combo will not touch this paint at all (OHP with HT Tangerine). I dont mind picking up heavier cutting products but im not sure what to use that wont leave micro marring. Did i also mention that its black :cry:

I just ordered a sample kit from CG of their V-line polishes(V32, V34, V36, V38).

I was really impressed with it.. Performed like 101 with a longer work time and really no dusting however you have to work it a bit longer, I have a writeup I need to post, I used all three of those compounds side by side and no for fg400 only menzerna polish I've used is sf4500

In my limited experience, OHC finished like doo-doo.

Hmmm. I dont have and have never used M105 but thanks for the advice. At least ill have that option if need be.

I can't provide direct feedback on OHP, but what I have heard echoes what you read above - it does not finish well. On my own black GM truck, I've used Megs 105/LC Orange and was so impressed that I decided not to follow with 205/White. (That said, on a couple of spots where I wanted some extra working time, I did mix in some 205 for a pass....roughly 75% 105, 25% 205.)

I've done a lot of MY2000 and newer GM trucks, and I really do love the 105/205 combo. Way back when I started with Poorboys SSR (2.5/1) but the short working time and heavy dusting got to me. I flirted with Menzerna for a while, but found it to be a bit finicky when the humidity picked up. I've used 105/205 for roughly six years now, and really couldn't be more pleased.

Obviously, every case is different, but if you decide to pick up some 105, you may be pleased with both the cut and finish to justify a single corrective step. Good luck.

Thanks for the comments on 105 vroomvroom. The only issue I think ill have with 105 is it'll be applied with a da and ive heard dusting and short work problems when used with a da.

I've used 105 with a da a lot, it definitely gets the job done, it works great its just a ##### to work with
