My new Flex is terrific! Wonderful results, but it looks like I left about 10 bucks of selant in that thick pad. i guess I was kinda paranoid about dry polishing the finish. So what do I do next time?

I'm thinking next time I spritz the pad good with the cheapest detail spray I can find for lube. Then, put maybe a teaspoonful of wax on there in four or five pea-sized pieces. Instead of smearing the pad with more wax, spritz it once or twice to keep up the lube and only add more wax when I see the pad isn't laying down any more wax.

Will I mess up my finish if I lube it up too much with the detail spray? Should I quit worrying about dry sanding the finish and jut relax? Grin and bear it? (the seeming excessive use of product, I mean.)

don't ad anything to your products. I always try to use as little product as possible.
Just learn how to do it, you can do it.
