Are there any benefits to a second coat of DG 610/111 mix or will the second coat just remove the first? I am trying to layer.

DG #111 has NO cleaners in it, so its good for layering and with adding #601 to the mix means you can layer one ontop of the other w/o needing to wait. The 2nd coat will give you added protection and shine. This was my 1st DG product and its awesome!!

The second coat will add depth to the finish. Go for it.

Sometimes I don't stop at two coats of 111. Probably overkill. Hard to break those "Z" habits.

Do you mean one after another in one week or during a detailing session? As long as you've got the #601 mixed in there your good to go and IMO its not overkill, the results speak for themselves!

Speaking of DG products, I finally got around to applying #105 w/ #601 for the first time.....stunning results and now I'm at a point as to which product to use (#111, 105 or #101) Although I liked the results of 501, with its cleaners in it I will use this after every clay barring and also to apply to the windows/wheels. I've read how good it stands on its own and I believe it but because I've got so many DG products to use I can basically pick and chose specific jobs for them. I suggest to everyone to get/use DG #'s 101, 105, 111 and 501, not to mention AW, all great products, period!

More like one on Sat. then one on Sun. then repeated following W/E. Maybe the overkill starts when I throw on some Opti-Seal every few weeks. You mention you have so many DG products... was wondering if you use their rinseless. If so, how does it compare to ONR? Is it as versitile? I'm almost out of ONR and wonder if I should switch. BTW I always add a splash of AW to my ONR solution.

Love DG products. I mean come on man...if anybody doesn't have these products by now, why not?

So every one thinks these products can be layered then?

Wow! Looks great. You like 105 more than 111?

Yes you can and a bunch of people layer DG products. I like to wipe off my last coat with aquawax. Makes it so slick and easy to remove.

Is 111 pretty much the same product as Zaino Z-2? Would like to hear from those that have used both. I'm not to crazy about the durability or application of the 601/105 I've been using compared to the Z-2 I've always used.

I transitioned from Z2Pro to 111. As I've posted somewhere previously, the 111 seems to knock only one sock off. Could be my imagination though. Can't comment on durability since I use AW as I dry with every wash.

Is there such a thing as too shiny I just pulled my car into the sunlight after the second coat of 601/111 and wow! The car looks like it was just painted(93 red vette). The optics are just so clear, no oily residue either.

Can you comment on the application process? Z-2 goes on like butter and is really easy to remove. I find the 601/105 more difficult to apply and remove. I'm guessing Z-2 is easier to work with because of the long drying time required. After comparing the 105 to Z-2, I'm not sure if it's worth giving the 111 a chance. Whatcha think????
