advice needed..........

Thanks for advice in advance. I was doing my brothers car today and of course he decides to help with no idea what he is doing. He has a black 08 650i with swirls all over so he just watched me do some paint correction to remove them but had to go to the restroom so he decided to help while I was gone.:cry: When i came back I stopped him because he was hitting the plastic around the droptop so know trying to figure out how to remove it. I was using the hyper compound with the blue light cutting hydro pad. All swirls all gone, hyper polish after that then i had some liquid glass to use from him so I topped it with that. It does look very wet know but doing the whole car again after all the rain we are expecting and going to optiguard it when done.

So I take it your question is how to remove the compound from the plastic trim?

If so try some all purpose cleaner and a scrub brush
