I'm on a job right now. This '07 Chevy has gray interior with brown leaching marks. Mostly on the front seat some of the backseat front and back of the seat headrest all over the place. Looks like water damage on cloth interior. If you know what I mean.
Anyone else seen this problem? Sorry I can't post pictures from phone.

I own a Equinox and not had the issue you are having. My seats are grey leather as well. To clean them I have used leather cleaner and have had to deep clean with steam on occasion. Then conditioned.

I while back I read a post that someone uses woolite/water. Light staining 1:10, moderate 1:8 and heavy 1:6. I have not used this approach but may be worth a try?

The only thing I can think of that might take that out is 1Z einszett Plastic Deep Cleaner. This product has amazed me with what it will take out of leather.

^^ Thank you I'll look into that
I'm trying to id this problem too.
My customer complained to Chevy and they never got back to her.
Her brother has the same SUV and doesn't have this problem.
I know it's a defect in the leather.
I'm assuming it's the leather tannins coming thought the paint but I want confirmations.

Does your customer use spray on tan? I did a Lexus RX a couple of years ago with a lot worse staining than your photos show. I found out later it was spray on tan. I successfully cleaned the leather using Meguiars APC at 10:1 and soft brush. Followed this up by rinsing with a wet terry cloth towel then conditioner.

Thanks for the replys.
This stuff won't come off. Steam might help but it's not "on" the leather, it's in the leather.

Is there anyway it could be dye or ink transfer, odd color for dye or ink but nonetheless thought I'd ask..?

it's not tan spray, ink, sweat, coffee or the like.
It's been there since she got the car, new. It's a defect in the leather.
I guess I'm the first to see this.
Thanks anyways.

Is it possible that there is any metal in the seat cushioning that is rusting and coming through the leather??

this car was in/from Arazona so moister would have been a problem and
it's on the sides/headrest
