I recently had the opportunity to detail a new 2013 Tesla Model S. The owner wanted the best in looks and protection and had done their research regarding the various coating options available. At time of inspection the vehicle had about 900 miles on it (daily driven/garage kept) and had seen two 2BM washes. Not sure what Tesla did for new car prep as the owner opted for at-home delivery. Since the owner intends to care for the paint carefully and wanted the ultimate in looks we opted for 2-step correction and C.Quartz FINEST coating.

Total time spent: 15 hours.

Thank you! I hadn't really looked into the Model S too much until I booked this job. What an amazing piece of machinery! I could not believe how high-tech this thing is and there is so much room inside! Overall a gorgeous car.

Excellent work!

Thank you! :xyxthumbs:

I really like smaller foam pads for areas with concave/convex curves and tricky body panels. Thanks Bobby! :xyxthumbs:

@Nicholas-

Very nice work on that Tesla. Mine has a few swirls and a very faint scratch along the driver's side, so it doesn't look quite as bad as the one you detailed.

I will be checking out those products you listed, and looking at your work gives me some confidence to start working on my own!

Thank you sir! Congrats on your Model S. It seems like every other day Tesla is winning another award for style, value, or overall awesomeness. This one was a pleasure to work on.

Thanks! I had a lot of fun on this job. I actually just went out for a follow up "wash & reload" to touch up the interior, install FlyBy30 to all glass, work out some high-spots in the coating and get some CQF on the spoiler he had installed after we last touched it. It was amazing how easy it was to clean up with every square inch of the vehicle coated with CQF and DLUX.
