I have been correcting my ten year old car as time goes on and I have been trying to keep it nice. I have noticed that when the surface is slightly hotter than room temperature, the product is more efficient and can correct faster. That being said, I do not correct in direct sunlight. However, has anybody noticed this with a product like m105 on a red microfiber da polisher pad?

Generally speaking, you can assume that with a hotter surface, the paint will be softer and therefore easier to correct... this is also a bit more dangerous which is why it is always recommended to work on a surface that is cool to the touch.

Thanks for the info. The surface was not burining hot, but it was not cold. If I can, I will maybe try to warm the car in the sun and then move into the shade to correct it if need be

+1 When the paint is cooler much easier to work with.
