Looking at trying to improve the trim on one of my DD. What is the best way to clean and improve the looks of the trim? I've been looking at Poor Boy's Trim Restorer, PERL, UTTG+ (but that is probably more than I care to spend).

Thanks

Plain peanut butter or you can use a heat gun. Both have videos on YouTube

Wonder if you could use alternative nut? I would be afraid of a kid like many I know with peanut allergy and putting hand on handle could spell, disaster. It's a great trick though?anyone use almond butter, or sunbutter? How long does it last?

Poorboy's Trim Restorer is the only thing I use. I put it on with a high quality paint brush. Fabulous product.

Poorboys may not be as durable as Ultima but it is pretty good. You need to clean it first using a good APC and a brush. Then apply sparingly with a foam applicator to work it. You may consider letting it sit for a day or so and apply more Trim Restorer.

Some trim products work better on some plastics than others.

Indeed. I use UTTG+ on all my trim except one piece. It doesnt work well on it and tends to streak so I use Optimum Tire Shine to other lone piece of door trim.
