Wind gusts of up to 100 MPH. The car was relatively clean this morning. Oh you have to love the High Desert. 16932http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/04/09/e4aqyhy3.jpg

Been there, done that...

Driving in the high desert when it's windy like that sounds like your car is being sandblasted...

Man, and I complain when a little bit of tree "dust", pollen and everyday film lands on my car. I'd be so mad at the desert sand, I'd move! LOL.

Ha... living up in Canada I can't stand it when it snows, always said I wanted to move down to Arizona permanently (have a house down there).... maybe not!

I fell in love with the Joshua Tree area and surrounding when we went there, been back 2 times to visit family.

We remarked we'd like to live there to get a change from Illinois flatlands and trees. Maybe not there during the right/wrong time I guess?

It's like this all the time. Lol, I would wash my car everyday if I had the time. You have to park your car inside the garage and leave it there.

We had some nasty wind and rain this morning here in Vegas.

Good thing the German twins didnt leave the garage and the Camry took care of Daily Duties.

Mike, can a waterless wash be used on a car that has that much dust?

I can't wait to post a pic of the joys of living around pine trees.

If the car in question has a nice finish and the car and the finish are important to you then I wouldn't use waterless wash on a car as dirty in the picture the OP posted if you have the option to use running water out of a garden hose.

I definitely feel you. I live in west texas and the wind just sucks. Cleaned my car yesterday and it took 20 minutes to add a nice layer of dust.
