I don't have much experience at all but I didn't like my CSS pads. Much rather have the flat pads

Flat Pads are great.

I once used CCS pads exclusively, so I know they work. Now I use flat pads 90% of the time. Having used both, I feel the flat pads correct faster and leave a better finish than the CCS pads for any given color/cut, i.e. a flat white has outperformed a CCS white pad in my experience.

Like all the others have stated, I use the flat pads exclusively. I have tried most of the LC lineup, but always seem to go back to the 5.5" flats. Works best for me.

I got some of the CCS pads with my GG6 polisher. I have used the blue and white a few times and it seems to work well enough. However, my blue pad has lost all it's little pockets and is now a flat pad, they all came out when I was using a pad brush to clean the pad after waxing.

Don't they trap fresh compound and prevent it broken down into finer particles? I guess they would be better with SMAT polishes and AIO sealants etc.
