Does anyone have an recommendations for cleaning small chrome trim pieces around Windows. They are getting water spots.

Have you tried metal polish?

I'd try plastic polish as there's a good chance it's chrome painted plastic.

If it's metal, might try P21s Polishing soap. Just be careful to keep it off the paint.

Dodo Lime Prime should be gentle enough to polish them out before you seal them with something.

A polish like Flitz would be a good option. Works on all metals, paint, fiberglass, and plastics.
You can try something like PlastX, or a paint cleansing lotion, a cleaner wax/sealant, or a finishing polish. All the above should give you good results.

I just tried out the Meg's water spot remover on some chrome bumpers and it worked awesome.

You should give it a try.
