From Autogeeks website-

The Z-020 Tornador Black produces enormous power with a very small air compressor. All you need is a compressor with a discharge rate of at least 270 l per minute (9.55 cfm). This can be achieved using compressors with a reservoir of as little as 50 l capacity. Mobile detailers can now use the Tornador Black with a smaller, portable air compressor.

Yes, I am a fixed location and i have 150 gallon compressor, so maybe someone mobile can chime in and tell you what there using, I know with my compressor the thing is a beast, when i first got it at my house, I tried it with my lil 30 gal and it didn't worth a crap.

Hold on. There was a long post about this very thing a few months back. It doesn't need 9L, there was a 'lost in translation' issue with the math. It works, according to others, on a 5cfm at 90psi.

It had better work as my Tornador Black is scheduled for delivery today.

I have a Craftsman 6hp 30 Gallon and it keeps up with everything I put it through. I do have to take a break every 5-10 minutes just to stop the compressor noise but it keeps the 90psi and does a wonderful job.
