Thursday, April 11th

Yep... we're going to buff this out and make it shine!

http://www.autogeekonline.net/gallery/data/1806/Police_Command_Van.jpg

It has some very long scratches all down the driver's side from getting too close to a Palm Tree so we're going to try to remove and/or improve them to the point that they cannot be seen.

PLUS it has swirls! I have the pictures and will add them later. There's also dull Diamond Plate that needs the BLING restored.

Now I'm going to need a healthy team of people to help me knock this one out of the park, so if you haven't been here for a while and are eager to test out any of these polishers,

Rupes 15 and 21 Bigfoot DA Polishers
Flex XC3401
Cyclo
Porter Cable 7424XP
Griot's DA Polisher
Meguiar's G110v2 DA Polisher

Then clear your schedule and be here!

Mike I think you mean April 7th?

Forgot to add the date but just added it, we're actually going to do this next Thursday on April 11th.

Here's some more pictures to show the scratches along the driver's side panels as well as the rest of the truck.

The tree scratches run down most of the driver's side...

Here's I've circled them to show the general location...

Ouch! Here's a little closer photo of the scratches...

Tight Fit!
If I move the table against the wall under the big screen TV we'll be able to pull the truck in all the way and shut the door. This way we can turn on the air conditioning and buff out one side. After one side is done, we'll turn the truck around and knock out the other side.

Still going to be a snug fit...

I'll need some guys to bring out the shine in these diamond plate steps...

I'll have to talk with Yancy about this and see if it would lend itself to a "Live Broadcast". I'm not sure if it will or not...

I will be there, sign my up please.

There's not enough of them and besides, they're going to be too busy building California's bullet train.....
