So, I'm now on my 2nd sample tin of Naviwax (NW). The first one was NW Ultimate. I got it as a trade. When I received it, it was a sample size ounce - but the lid was busted (stripped). It was obviously not stored correctly, as it was dried out. I decided to try and use it anyway (on a rental).

For the curious, you can see the sample pot of Ultimate in this photo:

Even though it was dried out, I was absolutely blown away by the glassy/glossy look and intense beading. This wasn't just "good", this was excellent. It was hard to apply, but easy to remove. I mean REAL EASY to remove, like Fuzion or Souveran. It's the slickest wax I've ever felt. It also has some "filling" ability - but no cleaners or abrasives.

I attributed the difficult application to the product being dried out. I wanted to order more NW Ultimate, but could find no US distributors. I looked overseas, and could find nobody there that sold Ultimate that shipped to the US, only Light & Dark.

So, I did find someone in the UK who had NW Dark for sale and would ship to the USA. This was another sample size (50 cc). When I received that, I was again blown away with how good it was, except this time it wasn't all dried out and application was as easy as removal. Beading and looks were amazing.

NW Dark:

I was so impressed with the Dark, I had to get my hands on a full size tin of Ultimate. Again, no where had it for sale. After sending out a bunch of emails I was able to get the company who sold me the Dark to get me a full size tin of Ultimate and ship it to me from the UK.

I'm just wondering if there is any interest in getting the 'Geek to try and sell this stuff, as its very impressive (both Dark and Ultimate), applies easy, fills some, and lasts quite a while.

Why I think AG should look into it:

1. It's an excellent product. Application, looks, beading, and durability are all great.

2. It's reasonably priced. A full size tin of Dark is around $45 (9 oz) and Ultimate $65 (9 oz)

3. Nobody else sells it in the USA , or really any detailing waxes from Japan. I think it would stir some interest just out of curiosity of being different.

Anyone interested?

Has AG ever looked into carrying this? I would think NV would be interested in a US distributor???

Ok... So I can take a hint. I see there is no interest. Anyway, I made a video showing how product handles water on a dirty car. This is the cheaper product, Naviwax Dark

My friend in hawaii has a couple of pots. Not sure if he picked it up in a store in hawaii or had a friend bring it in.
