One of my customers has a Lincoln Navigator and on the roof, there are slotted channels that run the length of the roof. Moisture has gotten in to these areas and has caused some slight rusting on the seam of these channels. This is a used vehicle and will be the first time for a detail (under his ownership). What is the best product/method for safely removing this light rust? Is there a product similar to naval jelly that is clear coat safe that could be used? And what method could be used for safe, effective removal?
