Hello everyone! My name is Sean and I detail boats for a living. I've been lurking on the forum for about ten months now (I've learned a ton of helpful info on how to maintain my Mustang's finish) and I decided to finally join and say hello.

I've been around boats my entire life and have been detailing them professionally for the past 3 years. I work for a local marine detailing company called Finz.

Last weekend I had the opportunity to hang out with Nick at Detail Fest and experience Marine 31 products first hand. Nick thoroughly explained the new line of products to me and I was interested in getting hands on experience (the flex buffer caught my eye too!).

Being a boat detailer, I'm always looking for a product that not only works great, but is easy to use as well. Every Marine 31 product I tested over the weekend was very easy to apply and remove. Nick and I mainly focused on the AIO gel coat polish and wax because the boat we were polishing was in decent shape and only had mild oxidation. I was floored at how the AIO seemed to melt into the gel coat, taking the oxidation and surface staining with it, all while making the boat very glossy and protected with carnauba wax. Since I mainly do production detailing, this is the product that interested me the most. It allows me to skip multiple steps.

I also got to experience the wax/sealant product along with the different compounds and polishes. They were all very easy to use as well and I was very impressed with the fact that the compounds weren't dusty. The odor eliminator smelled great!

The other product that really caught my interest was the stainless steel polishing soap. What a neat metal polish!

Overall, I walked away impressed and I look forward to incorporating Marine 31 products in the services that I offer my customers. Nick explained to me that every Marine 31 product is harbor safe and eco friendly which is a huge bonus to myself and a lot of my customers, especially those who have their boat out on the dock while I detail it.

Thanks Nick! :)

Thanks for joining AGO Sean! :welcome:

Sean was nice enough to help me buff out the boat on display at the Marine 31 booth on Sunday.
