Hello all, I just used the wookies fist for the first time on saturday and it is a great mitt. The problem I am having now is the drying of the mitt. The wool part of it is all dried and fluffy again but in interior leather lining feels like it never even dried a lttle bit. I reshaped a clothes hanger to open up the pocket so air can go in a help with the drying process but I dont seem to be having any luck with that. I also tried using hair dryer but I cant stand there the whole day with the hair dryer on. Also, I know a lot of people here dont suggest putting it in the dryer since it has to dry naturally so I did not do that. Any suggestions of how you guys dry this wash mitt? Thanks.

From what people have said, it just takes a long time to dry. I just got mine from AG:) ready to try it out!

Place it in front of a fan and let the air flow dry it.

Then go to a Pet Store and get a cat brush and brush it out so the fibers are not matted. I cover this in the new edition of my how-to book but forgot to include a picture of the brush I use.

It does indeed take a long time to dry. What I do is I open the bottom and place it over the handle of my car jack, so the air can flow through it. Plus it's in my garage which is hot as hell in Florida so it dries quickly. But still takes like 3 full days. Brush it out once it dries and check for debris and your all set.

If you have a boot dryer they work well for this.

Does that just do air or heat, because if you use heat on the inside of the Wookie it will mess the interior of the wash mitt up.

Thanks for the great suggestions as always. I will definitely try propping it on the handle of my car jack since that is the only item available to me at the moment from these posts.

Hockey equipment dryers work well for this type of mitt. Why doesn't anyone in the usa carry the short haired wookie fist mitt?
