BEAUTIFUL! Love me some big ole Buicks! I grew up in the back seat of a '57 Special, a '67 LaSabre and a '70 Deuce and a Quarter. Is that a '76? More pics please.

In no particular order, my Buicks:

-87 GN
-89 LeSabre T-type
-93 Park Avenue Ultra
-85 Skyhawk...."hooptie"
-68 Duece...."hooptie"
-81 Riveria

I love Buicks too and new ones are spectacular, can't wait to see the upcoming GN, although I wish they would use the name "Wildcat" or "Gran Sport" for this upcoming car, just like the current Regal GS.

Good job on the pictures!

Mike, you are a genius.

I started out knowing nothing about how to take pictures let along how to get them off the memory stick and then,

Crop the fluff
Resize to 800 pixels wide
Upload to a gallery
Insert instead of "attach" so pictures actually show up.

Then after teaching myself how to do all this I wrote a few articles to help others...

What is that? I thought it was a 225 but I can't quite make out what it says on the flank. (Limited? LeSabre?)

Is that a '76? More pics please.

Probably, the rect. headlights came in in '76 I think, and it seems to be the same color as a '76 I had (Firethorn Metallic or something like that).

It is an '76 Electra Limited. The last of the big ones with a 455 ci V-8. I call her Showgirl. My wife calls her Dirty Red Heifer.

I bought it about 5 years ago from the son of the original owner. This is the original paint.

Wow, incredible. Mine had rust holes by '82 and got repainted then after an accident. I had a sentimental attachment to it, but sent it to the junkyard at the end of '99 (by which time it had the nickname "The Moldmobile" due to a leak from the aforementioned accident). Of course mine was a different model, but same year same color. Yours isn't badly oxidized at all.
