I just want to say it again the Collinite 915 is an awesome wax. I would easily pay $100 for this but for $35 you can't beat it. Super durable and gives awesome depth. Anyone else agree?

How easy was it to use?

Spreads easy?

Wipes off easy?

I've never used it. But I'm considering it for next winter.

It spreads perfect with a Dual orbit and a LC blue finesse pad. I apply super thin the whole truck then buff and it is fairly easy. If you get heavy with applying it can be difficult to remove but if you stay thin it's awesome. Excellent protection too

That's the next wax I'm picking up, even though I don't need any more waxes! I heard it really makes dark colors look amazing.

Definitely agree. Topped Werkstat with 915 in October, all 3 vehicles are still beading like that same day even through all this salt and crappy weather. I'd like to get a higher-end wax, but since I don't do this for a profession, don't really know if I need one with this product. I love it. Some have said Collinite's waxes are hard to use, but I've never had a single problem with this or 845 with regards to removing. Definitely a product that should be mentioned a lot more and probably should even cost a lot more, though I won't complain. Great for black and darker colors

How does it compare to 845?

To be honest, since I got 915 I haven't really used 845 all that much. But 845 definitely appears to be suited to lighter colors more. Gives a brighter, more reflective look I guess you could say. While 915 gives that patented depth and wetness that carnauba gives you, with amazing durability. Both are so cheap that I'll always have them. Very economical

How did you get it on the pad?

How does it compare to Pinnacle Sig Series II and DP Maxx Wax? These are just two proven winners in the same price range. Truck looks good by the way.

How did you get it on the pad?
I think you can scoop it out of the can with a butter knife and spread it on the pad.

How did you get it on the pad?

Yeah I butter the pad with the flat end of my polisher wrench

I have use 845 as well. I use it when I'm kind of short on time. Very easy to apply and buff off. Again awesome wax. No as shiny as 915 but it is my go to wax as a liquid wax. If I have time I use the 915 because I love the look it brings out on my truck and any dark car I detail. I use 845 for silvers and white

845 gets most of the kudos but for my money 915 is an incredible wax on dark paint and easily lasts 4-5 months. I think it's perhaps one of the top 3 waxes under $100.

Just for those wondering.

2. What’s the difference between the auto waxes; No. 845 Insulator Wax, No. 476s Super Double Coat and the No. 915 Marque D’ Elegance?

All 3 last step waxes serve the same function: to provide a high gloss carnauba shine and lasting protection. All 3 contain copious amounts of wax-both rare Brazilian carnauba and premium synthetic polymers. However, their degree of durability, ease of use, and warmth of shine vary. Think of it this way;

1. No.476s – most durable protection/weather defense. Most elbow grease required during application.
2. No. 915- 2nd most durable and slightly easier than the 476s to apply/remove. No. 915 lends our warmest shine to dark tones like navy and black due to its highest concentration of rare carnauba.
3. No. 845- easiest of the 3 to apply/remove with slightly less durability than the No. 915.

Yep, totally agree. My truck's black too and I definitely noticed a difference when I put 915 on it. Just a different look like you said
