This car belongs to my friends manager. He gave my friend the task to sell this car for him. Car has 30,000 original miles. My friend knew he would have a very tough time selling the car in the condition it was. He contacted me a few weeks ago and we scheduled a 1 Step polish nothing too major since the car is going to be sold. The goal here was to bring back the gloss and make it presentable.
According to my friend and his manager the paint is original. He is the second owner of the car. I had my doubts it was original paint it was very tough and hard to work with. Japanese paints are known for being soft. The more I inspected the car the more compound I was finding in crack and crevices and door jams. I think at one point it was repainted or had so time of work done. The spoiler looked like it was burned at the edge and under it was green paint. Car also had very tough water spots
Got to work. Tried Optinum Polish II on white pad no luck. M205 on white pad no luck. M205 On Orange bit of improvement but lots of rids. Went to Ultimate Compound on orange pad much better improvement about 65%-75% correction. I decided to go with this combo. I could of got better results but didnt want to invest too much time since the car was going to be sold. Interior was in decent condition just lots of dust. Vaccum and dressed.
Overall good improvement. My friend was beyond happy
