i got a set of polished alumnium wheels on my truck

truck sat in the yard all winter and the wheels are horrible

some pitting but not much

i have a 6 inch orbital buffer and some mothers alumnium polish

took a long time to do one spoke and i have 5 on each wheel, its better but needs more work

would some rubbing compound save me some time?

Mother's Mini Powerball will be your best friend. Hook that up to an electric drill and use the Mother's Mag Aluminum polish. This will leave your wheel looking good in a short amount of time.

1. Wash Wheel With Safe Wheel Cleaner, Duragloss makes one especially for uncoated wheels.

2. Wipe wheels with P21S Polishing Soap, let sit, and reapply before removing.

3. Mothers Powerball mini with Mothers Billet, Simichrome, Flitz, or English Polish.

4. Seal with DP Wheel Glaze or Poorboys Wheel Sealant

5. Cleanup weekly with water and car soap
