Cleaner wax?

I saw Maguires and mothers sell a carnauba cleaner wax. Is that regular wax or is cleaner wax different?

Cleaner waxes clean and polish the paint as well as leave some protection behind. They are also called AIO's (All In One's).

Finishing waxes/sealants have no cleaning ability and must be applied to a defect free finish.

It's a regular wax mixed in with cleaners and likely you won't see the same durability as you would with a dedicated wax, nor would you see it clean as good as a dedicated pre-wax cleaner or polish.

Cleaner/waxes have their place in the market; all depends on what you want and how much time you are willing to invest to achieve it.

A cleaner/wax with Optimum Car Wax is what I use on SUV's or Truck roofs when time is of the essence and polishing is not really needed.
