Hi! I am about 90% sure that I will be applying Opti-Coat 2.0 to my one-step paint. I have been to Opti-Coat's website and read up what I can, as well as here in the forum and have yet to find where something is stated that its recommended to put down said number of coats. Also, if re-coating, how long to allow it to cure between applications?

For those that have applied Opti-Coat, do you apply a certain type/brand of wax afterwards and later down the line to make the paint color/gloss pop? Some have said that nothing will stick to Opti-Coat once applied, so does that limit later your ability to apply, say Carnuba Wax, to bring out the paint color?

Only one coat is necessary, more isn't better. You can put a second coat on within 5-15 minutes after the first, wait too long and an additional coat won't bond.
