My daughter spilled almost a whole cup of pink lemonade on my new tan/parchment carpet. Luckily most of it was on the rear floor mat but there is some in the center section.
I had about 6 MF towels soaking it up on the way home. I took out the mats and flooded them with hot water and then used Folex and a carpet brush. After several attempts there is still a pink color left. The car section I used Folex and the brush and the wet dry vac. Not sure how that is going to look yet but I suspect there will still be some pink left.

How do I get rid of it?

I knew I should have ordered those WeatherTec mats. :(
I was thinking of getting the Mytee extractor. Now it's on the MUST list. Will that get rid of it?

For cleaners I have AllClean+, Innerclean, Folex and regular carpet extractor stuff.

Thanks,
Rob

Folex usually does the job. Instead of the extractor you might want to look into a Bissell LGM. Much cheaper than extractor especially if you don't detail for income.

Possibly the hot water. I usually apply the folex to the stain while the carpet is dry and work with a microfiber and the stain comes up. For bad stains you may have to really agitate the spot with a brush and microfiber.

I thought since it was still wet that flushing it out would be a good thing.

Hades - I'm near Middletown. 1st time I've seen a fellow CT on here.

I have always used the folex on dry fabric and it has worked well. Not sure how well it works on wet fabric. Nice to meet someone on here from CT. There used to be a guy from Tolland but I haven't been on in awhile. I do this as a hobby working on my family's and my cars. Usually as a gift for birthdays or special occasions. Starting to think that I might do this as a part time weekend thing.
