dull paint?

Hello, everyone. I have an 09 white tacoma here in florida and the roof seems to be dull, like there is no shine to it. Feels rough. I have a pc7484 and curious what product would bring back the shine to the roof. Wonder why other parts didnot so call fade out? Any thoughts, steps i should take?

Give it a good wash. Clay. Then use a light polish.

Be careful with clay, lubricant is needed with all clay bars. I would also try using some meguiars ultimate compound to bring back the gloss

I would definately give her a thorough wash then determine the steps needed. It sounds like claying will be necessary. Then you can decide on how aggressive you need to be with polishing.

I just did an '08 white Camry. A wool pad on a rotary with hyper compound saved me a quite a few hours.
