View Full Version : So I took the plunge and finally bought a 7424xp w/pad kit.

This is my car and after washing and claying I did a test spot with a orange lcc pad with m105. I followed that up with a gray lcc pad and m205. Let me know how it looks. I know I don't have the best lighting but my phones led does a decent job showing the swirls and random scratches.

I plan to finish it up with Menzerna PO85RD.

This is what the hood looked like before. Lots of swirls and some random scratches.

You've achieved some very impressive results with two legendary Meguiar's products.

Meguiar's M205 is right at home with a White foam pad. While it has almost no cut, a gray foam pad can be used for some final finishing as you've demonstrated. :props:

Yes. Thanks, I wanted some experienced eyes to look at it before moving on to the entire car.
