What products do you guys use to remove water spots off paint that are acid or liquid based, rather than using compounds.
I realize that there is a point where compounding is the only answer. I am looking for something to use on new cars that is effective and relatively quick. Thanks!

I use a liquid product that's not sold here. The vinegar route never really much worked for me. Pm sent.

I believe Finishkare and Chemical Guys both offer a water spot remover and likely acid based. White vinegar works on recent spotting only..

I like MX7 for paint, but Chemical Guy's water spot remover seems to work.

If it's etched into the paint no. You will need to compound or lightly wet sand.

Duragloss Water Spot Remover actually works where a standard detailer does not. It smells like vinegar but the label mentions something else (not acetic acid).
