Sounds great David.

Looking to see the write up on the black Excursion. What better way to break it in than a big black truck.

Congrats.

Have you checked with Griot's to see if they would replace the RO under warranty?

The info I provide below should take care of this...:)
Dear Jomax...Per our conversation on 03.09.2013:
Go ahead and send me your GG6 for "repair".

Thanks.

Never did, figured i was at fault, not Griots. I could try though. The thing still runs.. sometimes... i cracked the bottom housing when i dropped it. When it decides to run, sparks come out of it along with a burning smell, even smokes a bit....

It'll get a work out. I have the excursion, year 2000 was never buffed. I have my truck, Swirled out BAD(long story) then I have a 38ft 5th wheel that I will be using it for the polishing step. All hopefully this Month...

I was sad but kinda happy at the same time.. is that wrong? Gave me a reason to jump on the Rupes Band wagon.

That is too bad. So how many times did you have to "drop" it before it broke and you could order the new Rupes?? lol

Just the once, I've dropped it off a 8ft ladder without a Hic-up once..But the 2 ft drop killed it..poor thing.

You will enjoy it my friend. To call that an "upgrade" is a bit of an understatement. Hang on to your hat!
