I would LOVE a metro, but the price is steep. Has anyone had a great experience with another similar and hopefully cheaper product? Electric leaf blower, etc?
Specific products would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Dear BTLew
People have used gas and electric leaf blowers with great success.
I have the Master Blaster and believe it's a nifty tool, but it still takes me at least thirty minutes to dry my Odyssey. A leaf blower wouldn't blow the water out of the cracks as well, but it'd be better than nothing.

Electric leaf blowers work great and are easily found for $50 at Lowe's...

I suggest the metro side kick. Great for blowing debris and water out of cracks and easier to maneuver than a leaf blower.
I believe Chemical Guys has it for cheaper than AG so ask AG to price match it. Something like $65-70.

:iagree: I have used a Toro electric blower for years. :xyxthumbs:
I tried using a shop vac's exhaust port once. It was pretty awesome for blowing whatever was INSIDE the shop vac out and onto the clean car.

I dont regret my 8 HP MB one bit. It is in a league of its own and is filtered.

Just got mine today and went right out and washed the car to try it out. All I have to say is even though its a little expensive. It really does work great. I love it.

^^^What is the true-price of quality?^^^ :dunno:
Irregardless...Another consideration:
Whenever contemplating owning this unit: A person should make sure the circuit,
from which it is to be operated, is correctly: "sized".

I've been considering the sidekick so I don't have to lug around a giant (empty) shop vac. I'd love to have a blow/vac setup but I can't seem to figure out which is the correct option for a hand held vac and blower.
The metro website shows this one:

Metro Vac N Blo 500 Watt Hi Performance Hand Vac/Blower
but the name doesn't correspond to anything on the AG website.
