I have a black 2007 range rover sport and a silver 2005 VW passat. I currently use soveran on the RR. I am looking for a more inexpensive wax with the ease of application like soveran. The RR does have a gold metallic flake. I am very happy with the sov. But I need something for the VW. I am debating between PS21 and the sig series 2. ANyone with experiance in both can you give me any major differences. SS is on sale but would the ps21 offer a wetter shine

im going to be different.... just kidding, Sig. Series II. It has the best carnauba content to bring out the metal flake and pearls.

Well I will be different :). Go to your local Harley Davidson dealership and pick up some S100. It is the same as P21S and half the price at $15. I like to use this on light metallics because it is a nice and clear wax. Give it a try on the Passat...IMO its a great deal at the HD dealership. As for black... you can't beat the Souveran looks.

SSII, Liquid Souveran, or DP Max Wax will be your best bets. P21S has a lot of beeswax, which helps bead water well, but offers no protection.

Souveran, Natty's Blue etc are wetter and deeper looking then P21S. I had s100 and didn't care for it, has a clear look to it but is missing the qualities of other good waxes. Durability sucked as well, I swear it was gone after like 3 weeks.

Poor durability too. For $16 I'd rather have Natty's Blue.

SSII is currently on sale at Pinnaclewax.com for 19.99 ... clear winner of P21S/S100 which is heavily beeswax (great for beads, nothing for paint)
