I'm looking to spend a little birthday money on my new hobby and really appreciate the work a Foamaster (http://www.autogeek.net/auqufofogun.html)can do to a car. The goal is to expediate the washing process as I alternate washing each car bi-weekly to spend more time in the details afterward.

I've clarified that my Mother's Carnauba (http://www.autogeek.net/mothers-carnauba-wash-wax.html) wash will work at a 128:1 ratio. I plan to use the gun (http://www.autogeek.net/auqufofogun.html) to cover the car, then agitate the soap with a Supreme Wash Mitt (http://www.autogeek.net/supreme-microfiber-wash-mitt.html) (research doesnt have me wanting the Boar brush (http://www.autogeek.net/bohabrteha1.html) anymore), wash the car free of soap, and finish with my new 20x40 Guzzler (http://www.autogeek.net/cobra-waffle-weave.html).

I suppose I'll still need a rinse bucket to keep my mitt dry but do I need to have my 5 gallon wash bucket anymore? I'm hoping this Foamaster (http://www.autogeek.net/mothers-carnauba-wash-wax.html) will eliminate the old fashion wash bucket to be honest.

Let me know gentlemen,

It really depends on what you want to do. You could use the wash bucket to add more product to the surface. Don't over think it.

Yes, when I foam it's with a rinse bucket only, no wash bucket. I wouldn't count on it saving you much time, unless that is your wash area in your avatar and you don't have to worry about anything drying on the car.

You still need to do a panel or less at a time and rinse the dirt out of your wash media, usually the car will start to dry before you get it all done and you will have to rinse and/or re-foam. I guess this is where the Bill D wash method (BDWM) would be great, have a bucket full of wash mitts, and foam the whole car, wipe a panel with each mitt, and then rinse the whole car...hmmm....

Forgive me, I have some OCD tendencies. Appreciate that feedback.

Hah! I wish that was my detail booth. I grabbed the pictures of the car from the dealers website before I bought the car. For documentation purposes.

I'm really looking to improve the effeciancy of washing the cars. Typically takes me 20-30 minutes to do the wheels, then another 30-40 to wash the car. Then another 10-20 to apply spray wax and instant detailer. I'm going to apply wax (http://www.autogeek.net/mothers-fx-synwax-paste-wax.html) to my wheels to help with that process so the cleaner (http://www.autogeek.net/mo05924.html) I use is more spray and rinse. Hopefully the foam brush will allow me to wash the car in 15-20 depending which one I'm washing (car/CUV).
