Salutations!
I was raised in a car family, going to shows, and showing our cars. So i've always been a car guy. However, i've moved more away from modding them to detailing.
Now, i'm a little OCD and like all my brands to be the same so you'll find me using only Mothers products as they're easily acquired and pleased me with their results. I'm slowly working my way up to more difficult things.
Currently, I had my 2011 Grabber Blue 5.0 detailed the day after I bought it and maintain it using Mothers Carnuba Wash followed by Mothers Instant detailer. Keeps it slick as glass over four months later!
I've learned a little bit as far as maintenance however, my wife's 2011 Ford Edge needs some work and is currently my test car. I need to use Mothers Clay Bar to clean the surface, as it's very contaminated, and plan to chase it with Mothers Spray Wax. Eventually i'll move to compounds to remove swirls and keep it protected by hand waxing.
