This past weekend I gave Dupz 55's (a fellow VW Club SA member) Golf 6 Gti an enhancement / protection detail. The objective was purely to impart some shine into the paint, not out and out paint correction as this would remove precious clear coat and given that the vehicle only has 11K km's on it, longevity of the paint was the goal.

Products used:

Wheels:
Sonax Extreme wheel cleaner
Cyclo CM30
Autofiness ObliTARate
Smartwax Smart Dressing
Collinte #845

Paint:
Cyclo CM30
Autofiness ObliTARate
Carpro Iron-X
Clay Magic Blue Clay
Meguiars Ultimate Compound
Menzerna SF4000
Collinte #845

Glass:
Clay Magic Blue Clay
Autoglym Glass Polish
Autoglym Fast Glass
C-Thru

Exhaust tips
Meguiars NXT All Metal Polish
Collinte #845

On arrival the car was covered in the usual surface dirt and a few other nasties like tree sap and waterspots, and there were some minor swirls evident, as well as some deeper scratches around the vehicle.

As always I started off by cleaning up the wheels and brake calipers, and then sealing the wheels.
Before

After
http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/dd393/polo_playa/Brad%206%20Gti/IMG_3638_zps068231ad.jpg

I then proceeded to clean up all the door/boot jambs, window rubbers, inside the petrol cap, between all panel gaps etc

Once that was completed all the tar deposits were removed, and there were a lot of them, presumably from peddling around Hesketh at the last track day :driving:
http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/dd393/polo_playa/Brad%206%20Gti/IMG_3514_zpsa6296361.jpg

After that the iron deposits were removed and the entire vehicle, including all the windows / sunroof were clayed
http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/dd393/polo_playa/Brad%206%20Gti/IMG_3519_zps357220f2.jpg

There was some sticker residue behind the number plate (presumably from some double sided tape, which was removed)

http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/dd393/polo_playa/Brad%206%20Gti/IMG_3525_zpsee6a74ff.jpg

I then commenced with a very light polish across the entire vehicle but did have to so a slightly more aggressive cut on certain sections such as

1. The B-pillars

2. A very deep scratch

http://i1217.photobucket.com/albums/dd393/polo_playa/Brad%206%20Gti/IMG_3556_zps359d2866.jpg

Once all polishing had been completed I proceeded to polish all the glass surfaces and then re-washed and dried the vehicle in preparation for waxing. 2 Layers of Collinte were laid down before I then cleaned and coated all glass surfaces.

And the exhaust tips were then polished and sealed

All plastic trim was then dressed

I managed to snap these 'after' pics first thing Monday morning when the vehicle was collected, before the sun was really up - not the greatest pics I have ever taken
