Hi, all.

I bought a brand new Kenco Microfiber Luxury towel from an auto shop. When i brought it home and shook it, a lot of fibers came out. Then i started taking out fibers stuck on it(from other cloths) and the fibers of the towel itself were coming off! I couldn't believe it. I had an old towel (same one) lying around which didn't show this problem, rather the fibers were pretty tough.

Let the pictures explain the rest......

I was pulling the fibers with my fingers and went a bit too far...

Is it possible i got a fake? If so how do i return it? The guy at the store is....well, not so understanding and he's gonna blame me but i can't work with something that's as good as nothing! I haven't used it yet but the fibers are so delicate, they will eventually break away every time i dry my car or wash the towel!

:mad::confused:

Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Return it and get your money back, it'll only get worse.
Doesn't look too luxurious to me.

Looks like you should be buying your towels at Autogeek.

"Made in China" is your problem. The best MF towels are made in Korea.

Hi, all.

The guy at the store
Either way...
The guy will appreciate it if you bring these MF-towels to his attention.
He in turn needs to notify his MF-towel vendor(s) about these inept MF-towels.

Afterall...
They probably don't want any of these MF-towels to give their MF-businesses a black-eye.

As suggested...
You should take your MF-towel business to a more reputable MF-towel re-seller.

After wash and dry they are still shedding? Usually the loose fibers (if any) are gone after initial wash and dry using low heat. If still happening try one more wash dry, if still shedding take them back.

That "luxury" towel is the exact same one they sell at Target. Those edges are made of Nylon or something that feels very similar. Not satin edges.

Pick up some Cobra towels.

Thanks, all. Luckily, i got that mf towel replaced and it seems fine after the first washing. Next time i'll definitely be looking for better ones like the Cobra's and staying away from chinese ones......

Case Closed.
