Is there a polish anyone recommends to use on chrome plastic parts such ass grills, bumpers, running boards you see more and more these days. I was thinking maybe very light polish such as menz 4500, menz 4000? I was thinking about using my crimson bad with the menz 4500 for starters

You want to be sure that you are not using an abrasive polish use a chemical polish and a cotton terry towel to polish. Pro Polish works great for this and just about anything else

Agreed - I go to a chemical polish first on these pieces. Poorboys Pro Polish is perfect. As are most metal polishes, a la Optimum, Clearkote, etc. If you see heavy etching or very light scratches that these chemical polishes can't remove, you can graduate to a fine abrasive polish, like M205.

It seems like this product could potentially be the same as the Flitz fiberglass restorer .

Flitz or Optimum is great for all plastics and metals. Optimum delivers a brilliant shine on must metals.

I used Duragloss 501 on it yesterday. I came out pretty nice and protected.
