Don't ya hate when washing your ride and the hose always gets stuck under the side of the tires? Instead of buying those stupid little yellow things that go in front of the tires and always slide out, I took 4 5 gallon buckets, filled them with water, placed them about 2 to 3 feet out from the corners of the car. Works great plus you also have an extra 4 rinse buckets at all four conners of the car. Im the MAN :buffing:

Thats a neat idea. I think autogeek sells something similar to what your talking about for that.

I dont wash my car conventionally anymore unless I have to (really dirty) which is rare. ONR all the way :)

Like the idea. Not to criticize, but...that seems like a lot of extra water use. FWIW, I just pull a little extra length of hose off the reel, and keep it a foot or so away from the vehicle. Prevention > cure. :)

Sorry but not really a good idea if you pull to hard the buckets could scratch the car. Its not worth any chance of that and huge waste of water.

Yeah it's pay back like bobby said for wasting my damn money. Buckets are 3' from car, already tried to tip over a 5 gallon bucket of water with a hose and you have to pull the hose so very hard to do it. Any way works for me and I'm stickin to it. Lol

I never have had a problem with hose blockers. If placed properly, they dont move at all IME.

AH this drives me insane. Hose gets stuck under tires. Then I usually pull the hose and it usually hits up against the paint then I get really PO'd!! I guess I need those hose blockers!
