Car was then clayed using Speedy prep towel (also first time using, normally used either meguiars or mothers clay bar in the past)

This part gets kinda mixed up as i was just randomly taking pics in between polishing

Hood test spot ended up using wolfgang TSR on a white CCS pad

After one pass

I split the hood in half and corrected one side using wolfgang duo( TSR on white pad - Finishing glaze on Grey pad

Uncorrected

Yes this paint was very soft. I used incorrect pressure a few times with the prep towel and marred the paint a little.

Yes, i dont look at cars the same anymore. This is my friends car that i detailed and he never even knew his car had a gold/blue pearls in the paint lol.

When i walk through parking lots now i am often looking around seeing who has neglected in taking care of there paint and if i could correct the imperfections they have on there car

Thanks Mike :xyxthumbs:

If it wasn't for this forum, your vids and the seasoned professional that i met a couple weeks prior to this detail, i probably would not have gotten the results that i achieved.

There were still mistakes that were made, like pulling the polisher away before turning the machine off lol i knew not to but it still happened :egads:

All in all it was a great first experience and i learned alot. I am looking forward to detailing more cars and trying out new products.

So far i have also done my S2000 laguna blue, Subaru WRX metallic grey hatch and a Mercedes G wagon (very difficult and was also black) each on yielded great results. :dblthumb2:
