Will damping polishing pads help reduce burning car paint. Like does it really help prevent heating the pad.Im using m101. m105, and m205. I think I read somewhere where Mike states that heat doesn't remove scratches. Its the cutting and the abrasives. In this case is the nano technology from megs. OOh.....Im using a dewalt rotary.

Thanks

I understand your thought process. Pads become damp when product is applied. Adding additional moisture "could" change how the product performs.

Burning usually takes place on a sharp edge or high point, not a flat surface.

A damp pad will hold more heat in the material than a dry pad. ;)
OTOH Having a certain amount of lubricity can and will help with friction heat buildup.
