I'm in the market for an extractor and it seems to be a great entry level unit but I'm worried about its durability due to the durrmaid name and reviews I've read about other durrmaid models.

I've been looking at the mytee lite in but I am not impressed with its low lift and the Aztec hot rod doesn't seem that great.

Any thoughts?

I have the Durrmaid and it is certainly adequate. Does not touch the Mytee Lite II IMO. I got to try the Mytee at one of Mike's Boot Camps and it will be my replacement for the Durrmaid when it dies.

What model Durrmaid do you have? The Durrmaid 1600 has more lift than the Mytee Lite 2. How long have you had the Durrmaid? Any problems?

I have the 1600 and have had it for about two years. No problems so far.
