Just snapped a few pics as the procession rolled through my town.
I decided to get out early and get a spot, with my American Flag of course.

Me with the flag on the overpass..

I was above the yellow sign, holding the flag straight up in the air while they were passing.

It was the most humbling experience. No one talked. The overpass I was on was shoulder to shoulder with Vets. The Procession was a 200 mile trip to Austin, with the vehicles stretched 10 miles. The complete 3 lane highway was shut down, on ramps, and exits......

Here is a youtube video someone shot at the overpass behind the one we were on.
(Was for emergency personnel only)
They had the 2 ladder Fire Trucks with a flag in between, with a Bag Piper on top playing....

I just thought I'd share my experience today.

Its such a shame that American war heroes fight bravely against the enemy, only to survive countless battles and get KILLED in their OWN country by their OWN people. Thats just ridiculous, theres no words to describe how much that pisses me off.

Theres two other military members that I know of that had similar situation. One was in the Army, served 2 tours (full 1 yr tour not the 6 month marine tour) and was killed at a party here in the states. Make me wonder how safe we are here..
