What is a resonable price to pay to get a 11 ram quad cab polished ?
When I am done claying I am planning on having the entire truck polished, and have received estimates from $80 to $240.
The higher prices coming from body shops, and the lower from detailing companies.

Sorry to hear this.... did you ask this detailer,

Do you hang out on any detailing discussion forums?
What do you use for compounds and polishes?
What do you use for pads?
What do you use for tools, especially for the last machine process?...

...It's real simple, detailers that hang out on forums like this know more than detailers that don't. The proof is in your driveway.

:dunno:

Here's what you do,

Before letting anyone touch the paint on your car, ask them the below 4 questions,

What type of tool they are going to use?
What type and brand compound/polish they are going to use?
What types of pads they are going to use?
What they are going to use for a wax or paint sealant?
Then simply post back here the answers and I'm confident our forum member will let you know if the person you're considering knows what they are doing and is up to speed with the best current technology available.

Hey guys, I got myself into a mess by not taking advice from people here, so I figured I better pull my head out of my @$$ and start listening. By the request of another member before I take my car anywhere else I was hoping someone could point me out to an expert in the Hampton Roads are of Virginia that could fix the damage done to my clear coat by a shady detailer. I was referred to one in Williamsburg, Va whom works at a collusion and body shop with supposedly over 300 years combined experience, But it was brought to my attention further buffing could ruing the clear coat.

Thanks in advance.
